Mosley's dad decided to keep Crixus so I've still got one at home. The other puppies went to their homes last weekend, and it's taken me some time to come to terms with that before I could write it on the blog.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />

We play tug quite often. I'm seeing more of his personality now that he's by himself and he's a big talker. He howls, barks and grunts every chance he gets. And he's weighing in at 27 pounds! He like to jump up and put his paws on my back and look over me, but he's gonna break my back soon doing that!</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />

I have no more puppies to write about (unless you want this to become the Crixus blog) and I'm hearing my owner mumble about me not having puppies again. I hope you've enjoyed watching my puppies grow as much as I have. If I ever get updates and photos about my puppies, I'll try to post them here. </div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;">I wanted to take a quick second to give you an update on Boreas! First off, I want to thank you both for the wonderful job you did starting off our puppy - he came to us so well adjusted, healthy and happy! What a pleasure we've had over the last few days with him! The folder of "knowledge" was so helpful... you truly made our first "breeder" purchase such an easy thing. I really can't thank you enough putting up with my constant texts :) and questions. Boreas is such a perfect fit with our family and is the smartest lil boy, he honestly hasn't had an accident in our house even once and has slept in his crate all night every night without a howl...and he does howl :) - howls when he wants us to play with him and howls when he is running as fast as he can around the house! </div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><br />
</div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"> You guys did great! Well ....Mosley and Skye did most of the work but with your help they had an amazing pup and we're grateful and honored to include him in our family! Thanks again and keep in touch !!</div><div style="font: 16.0px Georgia; margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;"><br />

I've weened these puppies! Now, the humans have to deal with feeding them! Hahaha!</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwx6AvrxoVLtaFXixpuyGoXiCOwcgPE5t1t-0tu9C--B-8qhqrvY1h4-IrJalPe7_rE4QaLMqWPwOjMgpH6qA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> They started by trying to feed the puppies out of two bowls. They crush up puppy kibbles and mix it with water and the pups seem to really enjoy it! The problem with feeding them out of two bowls was that some (especially Little Mr. Independent, who's been renamed Spartacus [partially for his large size]) like to hog to food (see video)!</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dyM6ooCJNHUuPWIhr-Ca9uBDIGwoT1KNpeVvaHsVdPjO8mHw1aYAHbwMJv3QnqOX_AjDU4GMEKT50jYBU9jmw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The next failing solution was to give each puppy their own bowl.</div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dw2i89Or-lAjlEiot4VHlC4inmL0PUzLCaD9NZLKErwxM2NiCQINS-wVJHMsgiW9BsEN7CCGS8L2PF7UpNlVQ' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Here's why one bowl per puppy failed! This video shows the way the puppies seem like to eat! This may be the magic number of bowls! The humans will have a lot less dishes to do at least! (If anyone has any advice I can pass on to the humans, that'd be great!)</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzg78kgPnog5gXGMIm2AZoZqUh0nF14fgU_6Xle1pYy5blpOe6y18JBdly6AnZ-WJRFNoM1N5UnufE2Rmk5bg' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">As is now routine, after the puppies are full, they have to let the whole world know! There's always a lovely howling concert from one of them after dinner! </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwh6hhxUX3kBCL9DtQcTUlnfLg9rtiaUbgemGAkQjLLlparPCc7lU_FcHA9sb06cFQx874An6-G77s7xdkd4Q' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Now that they eat dinner inside, these pups think they're Columbus! The humans so smartly keep the puppies in the kitchen because they would otherwise explore themselves into getting lost! They walk about two steps and then tip over, but geez, if we didn't have the puppy hut to keep them together, they'd be all over the yard! My job as a watchful mama's about to get a lot harder! This video has their first forays into walking.<br />

Here's the process with one of the red puppies!<br />
<br />
Step 1: Cuddly closely.<br />

If you look closely, you can see his blue eyes looking out at you! As of 10pm tonight, four of the puppies had their eyes open. Well, open is exaggerating - they were squinting at the bright light of the world. The others might have their eyes open, but they're all busy being snuggle bunnies and sleeping all day. As soon as they have their eyes open more, I'll post photos. I'm hoping they all have blue eyes because my eyes are blue! (Don't tell anyone, but so are Mosley's... I just want to have some trait passed on to them!) <br />

Mosley became all protective - especially with this little girl - and had to make sure the girl in the red coat was treating his puppy right. He kept a watchful eye over the pups and licked them to make sure they were okay.<br />

I haven't had to deal with that yet, but I'm practicing my discretion in case I ever find myself in that situation.
